The Japan Team who will compete in the ICC Men’s U19 WC EAP Division One 2025, which starts on Thursday, has been selected. 

The fourteen players will compete against Fiji and Papua New Guinea (PNG), playing each team twice as they aim to earn a place at the Under 19 World Cup for just the second time ever. 

The players chosen are: 

  • Charles Hara-Hinze (Northern Suburbs Cricket Club)
  • Gabriel Hara-Hinze (Northern Suburbs Cricket Club)*
  • Kazuma Kato-Stafford (Akishima Aviators Cricket Club / Northern Suburbs Cricket Club)
  • Kaisei Kobayashi-Doggett (Randwick-Petersham Cricket Club)*
  • Timothy Moore (Lions Cricket Club / Chiba Sharks Cricket Club)
  • Skyler Nakayama-Cook (Streatham Cricket Club)
  • Ryuki Ozeki (Sano Braves / Sano Cricket Club)
  • Nihar Parmar (Alpha Quashers Yokohama Cricket Club)
  • Nikhil Pol (Tokyo Falcons Cricket Club / Chiba Sharks Cricket Club)
  • Tomo Rear (Lions Cricket Club / Alpha Quashers Yokohama Cricket Club)
  • Chihaya Sekine (Sano Braves / Sano Cricket Club)
  • Hugo Tani-Kelly (Northern Suburbs Cricket Club)
  • Kai Wall (Barron River CC)
  • Max Yonekawa-Lynn (Chiba Sharks Cricket Club)
