The Japan Cricket League is the top one-day league in Japan. Played over four divisions, teams from around Kanto compete in 40 over matches on Saturdays and Sundays from April to November.

Division 3 is for players who are performing well at junior level, or in social competitions and beginners who are developing well. National squad members should not feature at this level, although it is likely that some national academy members and Women’s national squad members may be involved.

Players in this Division are here to develop their game and enjoy cricket. While the league remains competitive, a priority should be put on enjoyment and helping players to learn and develop.

The Division may include players who occasionally play in Division 2, while it may also include players who are promoted from Division 4.
