Men’s Under 19 Japan National Team to Tour Singapore

We are delighted to confirm that the Men’s Under 19 Japan National Team will tour Singapore in April as part of their preparations for the ICC Men’s U19 WC EAP Division One 2025 later in the month. 

The team will be led by new Head Coach Reo Sakurano, while Jarrad Shearer and Hiromu Inoue will reprise their roles as Manager and Trainer respectively. 

In addition, the Men’s Japan National Team Captain, Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming, also joins as an assistant coach, reprising a role he played at the Under 19 World Cup in South Africa in 2020. 

The team will include 17 players as named below:

  • Charles Hinze (Northern Suburbs Cricket Club)

  • Timothy Moore (Lions Cricket Club / Chiba Sharks Cricket Club)
  • Skyler Nakayama-Cook (Streatham Cricket Club)
  • Ryuki Ozeki (Sano Braves / Sano Cricket Club)
  • Nihar Parmar (Alpha Quashers Yokohama Cricket Club)
  • Nikhil Pol (Tokyo Falcons Cricket Club / Chiba Sharks Cricket Club)
  • Tomo Rear (Lions Cricket Club / Alpha Quashers Yokohama Cricket Club)
  • Jack So-Stavretis (North Balwyn Cricket Club)
  • Hugo Tani-Kelly (University of Queensland Cricket Club)
  • Aaryan Waduge (Kawasaki Knight Riders Cricket Club)

The team will play four matches against the Singapore Under 19 team, which the fixtures as follows: 

  • 12th April (Friday) 10:30 – Singapore U19s vs Japan U19s* 
  • 13h April (Saturday) 10:30 – Singapore U19s vs Japan U19s*
  • 15th April (Monday) 10:30 – Singapore U19s vs Japan U19s*
  • 16th April (Tuesday) 10:30 – Singapore U19s vs Japan U19s**
