With the government announcing the lifting of the State of Emergency, the cricket season will restart from Saturday 26th June.

Head of Cricket Operations Alan Curr said: “We would like to thank everyone for their patience during this time. The situation is expected to remain challenging, so we would like to emphasise the importance of ensuring that preventive measures are strictly followed and we thank you for your understanding and support.”

The participant checklist can be found by clicking here and should be checked by all participants in the lead up to every match. Participants should take all precautions necessary when travelling to and from, and playing games of cricket to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

We have also worked on a protocol for any member of the cricket community who tests positive for COVID-19 which has been communicated to all committees and they should be the first call for any club representative in that situation.

We are working hard to ensure that the disruption to the number of fixtures played this season is kept to a minimum. Please bear with our staff and competition committee members as they aim to reschedule as many fixtures as is practical and check with each individual facility regarding it’s availability.

We will continue monitoring the situation and will communicate any changes that could be made as soon as possible.
