Brian Bell East Asia-Pacific Women’s Cricket Challenge 2006

In 2006 Brian Bell & Co were awarded the naming rights for the first ever East Asia Pacific Women’s Tournament, which would consist of a three match 50-Over series between Papua New Guinea and Japan, to be played at Amini Park, Port Moresby.   The winning team would move into the world group to attempt to qualify for the 2007 Women’s World Cup. ICC WOMEN’S EAST ASIA-PACIFIC TROPHY 2010

The 2010 East Asia Pacific Trophy was hosted by Japan at the Sano Cricket Grounds. It was just a three team tournament featuring Japan, Papua New Guinea and Samoa. 2010 Asian Games – Guangzhou (Olympic Tournament)

China were the hosts of the 2010 Asia Games and the cricket was played in the purpose built stadium in Guangzhou. The tournament was held in the Twenty20 format.   Coached by Katrina Keenan, Japan were drawn in a group alongside Nepal, Bangladesh and Hong Kong, while Pakistan and Thailand joined the hosts China in the opposing group.
