To Everyone Associated with the JCA,
As cricket is set to become an official Olympic sport at the 2028 Games, public interest in the sport is growing, and those involved are expected to adhere to higher ethical standards. To ensure that everyone associated with cricket upholds the sport’s spirit, our association requests that all stakeholders comply with the following guidelines. We ask for your thorough understanding and strict adherence to these matters.
- Respect all nationalities, cultures, and religions, and avoid any behavior that could be considered discriminatory.
- Refrain from making derogatory comments about players (both from your own team and the opposing team).
- Understand that maintaining player morale is crucial during tournaments, and avoid any actions that might negatively affect the morale of participating players. This includes communications via email, LINE, and other direct messaging on social media.
Additionally, please review the “Participant Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy” again. Please note that violations of these guidelines or failure to adhere to the spirit of cricket may result in disciplinary action.
Sincerely,
Anthony Tatsuya Aram
