Men’s Team for Sri Lanka Tour Announced

The Men’s Japan National Team will tour Sri Lanka later this month as part of their preparations for the final stage of World Cup Qualifying.
The team will be made up of 18 players and will play 7 matches in ten days against a selection of teams from within the Sri Lanka Cricket programmes.
The playing group includes Esam Rahman, a player who was unable to attend the Japan Premier League in May so will get the opportunity to trial for a place in the Men’s Japan National Squad, but there are no other new faces in the squad.
Head Coach will be Dhugal Bedingfield, while Duncan Harrison reprises his role from the spring as Co-Coach/Manager and Devon Van Onselen will have his first experience with the team as he takes up his role as Strength and Conditioning Coach.

The matches will be played at a variety of grounds in and around Colombo but will not be live streamed. Matches will be live scored on the JCA Match Centre.
