2015 East Asia Series (Friendly Matches)
In September 2015 Japan hosted a series of Twenty20 matches between the Japan Men’s Team, Hong Kong Dragons and an invitational ‘Commonwealth XI’. The 2017 Women's World T20 Qualifier was hosted in Sano, Japan during April and May. The tournament included hosts Japan along with Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Vanuatu.
