Kawasaki Cricket Blast Series to be held in August

Cricket Blast in Kawasaki, a program designed to bring the cricket to U12 kids, will take place three times every Sunday starting August 6 at the BST Nagasawa Sports Ground and is open to elementary school students from beginners to those who enjoy playing cricket on a daily basis.

Come and meet new friends through cricket with local cricket clubs and university student cricketers.

Cricket is for everyone for those who would like to bat and bowl and field and wicket keep, but also for those who would like to try a new sports or make new friends.

This program is designed for elementary school students who are new to cricket. Activities using a large ball that is easy to hit are perfect for children who are beginning to play ball games! The program will progress step by step to mini-games and matches.

After a warm-up session that includes a variety of physical activities such as batting (hitting), bowling (throwing), catching (catching), and running (running), children can enjoy a game of cricket to the fullest.
