The Japan Premier League (JPL) is a T20 top league, and many of the players participating have experience at the international level, and some are playing with a view to representing Japan.
The format of the tournament is that five teams from Kanto and Kansai will participate, and after a round-robin match, there will be a final match and a match for third place.
