The Japan Cricket Association (JCA) has signed a one year sponsorship deal for the Embassy Cup with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation.
The 2018 edition of the Embassy Cup included teams from the Embassies of Australian-New Zealand, Bangladesh, Britain, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka join the Japan Men’s National Team in a celebration of the diverse Cricket community in Japan.
JCA CEO Naoki Alex Miyaji said, “The Embassy Cup is a great opportunity to enhance international friendship between the participating countries, and also a perfect chance for people new to cricket to casually enjoy the international atmosphere and environment at the Sano International Cricket Ground. We are delighted to be able to host the event this year with the support of Mitsubishi Chemical”.
The 2019 edition, to be held at the Sano International Cricket Ground, will feature international food stands and cricket activities enjoyable for people new to the sport. Mitsubishi Chemical will also be providing free samplings of Detox Water using water purified by Cleansui and fresh fruit. Further details of the event will be announced in due course.
