The opening day of the Women’s Sano International Trophy was completely washed out as the Sano International Cricket Ground was hit with a deluge of rain that lasted the full day.
While optimists held some hope in the early hours of the morning, the covers never even made it off the ground and as time wore on it became increasingly clear that no play would be possible.
Japan are scheduled to take on Hong Kong tomorrow. We appreciate your support.
