will shine at world-class competitions. The J-STAR project in cricket was implemented from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025 with the support of the Japan Centre for the Promotion of Sports and other organisations.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Congratulations to all those selected and good luck for the year ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Women\u2019s Japan National Squad is an annual training squad consisting of promising players. The aim of the squad is to build an inspirational Women\u2019s National Team. Women\u2019s Japan National Teams that play International Cricket are selected from this squad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2024 the JCA created the Women\u2019s Development Squad as an annual training squad consisting of talented players. The aim of the squad is to develop players that can represent Japan in the future. From 2025 this will be renamed the Japan National Academy (Female).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This squad will not have an age limit, and will also be where the Women\u2019s U19 Japan National Team will be selected from.
