\"\"\"\"<\/a><\/span>Sano City will host a five team Women\u2019s International Trophy at the Sano International Cricket Ground in the first week of June 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This series will take place from Tuesday, June 3rd to Sunday, June 8th, with all matches played as T20 Internationals. After a single round-robin stage, the 3rd place playoff and the final will be held on June 8th.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament will include hosts Japan along with the international teams of China, Hong Kong, Mongolia and Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament replaces the Women\u2019s East Asia Cup for this year, with the four-year agreement signed in 2021 having now expired.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Head of Cricket Operations Alan Curr said: \u201cThis is a really exciting tournament for us to be hosting and we are grateful to Sano City for hosting the event and providing vital support. We are sure all four visiting teams will have a fantastic experience at the home of cricket in Japan.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This will be the first time Japan and Philippines have played against each other in a women\u2019s international match, while all of the visiting teams will be coming to Sano for the first time. Hong Kong played in Kaizuka in 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
