The Japan XI halted the dominance of the Indian Embassy XI with an impressive <\/span>31-run victory<\/span><\/a> in the 2024 Embassy Cup Final.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In an excellent tournament for the Japan XI, they secured victories over the Australia and New Zealand XI as well as the key match against the Sri Lanka XI to book themselves a place in the final.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Abhishek Anand was the star for Japan, he scored 220 runs in four matches to be the highest run scorer in the tournament. He also performed well with the ball, taking a hat-trick against the Sri Lanka XI.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In Division Two the Pakistan XI earned promotion back to Division One thanks to a win by <\/span>7-wickets<\/span><\/a> against the Nepal XI. They will replace the Australia and New Zealand XI who were unable to win a match in their first tournament in the higher group.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
