The Women\u2019s Japan National Team wrapped up a 5-0 clean sweep against Singapore in Sano.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In the final match Haruna Iwasaki was the batting star, striking her maiden international half century to help the team to a total of 118 for six from their 20 overs.<\/p>\n

Iwasaki (50 off 42 balls) combined with captain Mai Yanagida (24 off 40) for a partnership of 42 before being joined by her Sendai teammate Akari Nishimura (16* off 15) to add 46 for the sixth wicket.<\/p>\n

Singapore made a steady start with the bat and at 76 for three in the 12th over looked like they might record a first win of the tour.<\/p>\n

However, Japan took six wickets for just 13 runs as Yanagida (four for eight) ran through the lower order.<\/p>\n

The win was sealed by 29 runs<\/a> and gives the team a welcome confidence boost as they depart for the Women\u2019s East Asia Cup in Incheon, Korea on Monday.<\/p>\n
