<\/a><\/h3>\nThe Men\u2019s Japan National Team won the ICC Men\u2019s T20WC East Asia Pacific \u2013 Sub-Regional \u2018B\u2019 2024 with a thumping win over Korea in Incheon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n After winning the toss and batting first, captain Kendel Kadowaki-Fleming was imperious in striking 74 from just 56 balls as Japan posted a daunting 155 for seven from 20 overs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Things did not go all Japan\u2019s way as Fazil Muhammad (four for 27) struck twice in the first over, but Reo Sakurano-Thomas (39 from 36 balls) played an outstanding supporting role in a partnership of 86 from 68 balls with his captain.<\/span><\/p>\n Japan then struck twice in the third over of the chase, Piyush Kumbhare (two for seven) with one before Makoto Taniyama forced a run out with a direct hit to leave the Koreans reeling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The hosts struggled to find a way back from there with six bowlers picking up wickets and just one batter making double figures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ben Ito-Davis finished with the best figures, his three wickets costing just eight runs as Korea were bowled out at the end of the 19th over for just 47.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The win, by 108 runs<\/a>, is Japan\u2019s seventh on tour and secures the teams place at the Asia\/EAP Regional Final along with Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Papuan New Guinea and Samoa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n There is still one match to go and the team aim to maintain a perfect tour when they take on Indonesia in the final match of the competition on Saturday afternoon at 14:00.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n All tournament matches can be watched live on\u00a0https:\/\/www.icc-cricket.com\/videos<\/a><\/p>\n https:\/\/cricclubs.com\/InternationalScores\/viewLeaguePointstable.do?league=1565&clubId=11707<\/a><\/p>\n Mitsui Knowledge Industry Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
