\"\"<\/a>Erika Oda hit a maiden international half century as Japan cruises to a second successive nine-wicket win in as many days against Singapore.<\/p>\n

After being asked to bowl, Ahilya Chandel picked up from where she left off in the previous match, striking three times in her first two overs, finishing with three wickets for nine runs.<\/p>\n

Singapore made a recovery of sorts and were 48 for four at the halfway mark, a big improvement as Roshni Seth struck 21 from 25 balls to give her team some momentum.<\/p>\n

Kurumi Ota (two for 12) removed Seth and Japan roared back into the contest to keep Singapore to 76 for nine from their 20 overs.<\/p>\n

Enter Oda with clear intent. Batting with Haruna Iwasaki (13) the pair but on 50 for the first wicket, with Oda the dominant partner.<\/p>\n

Striking eight boundaries, including the one which brought the winning runs, Oda reached her fifty from just 34 deliveries, a landmark she has missed out on multiple times in the last 12 months.<\/p>\n

Oda finished 52 not out as Japan passed the total in the tenth over to take a 2-0 lead in the series.<\/p>\n

The teams will rest on Thursday and return to action on Friday at 10am.<\/p>\n
