ICC WOMEN’S EAST ASIA-PACIFIC TROPHY 2010

The 2010 East Asia Pacific Trophy was hosted by Japan at the Sano Cricket Grounds. It was just a three team tournament featuring Japan, Papua New Guinea and Samoa. As a 50-Over tournament the winners would go through to the final stage of World Cup Qualifying to be held in Bangladesh in 2011.

 

Katrina Keenan was player-coach in a closely contested event.

Japan win by 93 runs

5th May:

Japan: 155/10 (49.4 Overs)

Papua New Guinea: 158/7 (50 Overs)

Papua New Guinea win by 3 wickets

6th May (Qualifying Final):

Japan: 112/9 (50 Overs)

Samoa: 100/10 (42 Overs)

Japan win by 12 runs

7th May:

Japan: 125/5 (42 Overs)

Papua New Guinea: 123/10 (41.2 Overs)

Japan win by 8 runs (D/L Method)
